Community guidelines

Rated is for honest reviews of places you have actually visited. A few rules keep it useful for everyone.

• Write about your own experience. No paid, traded, or fabricated reviews, and no reviewing your own business or a competitor's.
• Review the place, not the people. No harassment, hate, threats, or doxxing of staff, owners, or other reviewers.
• Stay on topic. Reviews of a place should be about that place.
• Label sensitive content. Use a self-label for graphic details so readers can choose.
• No spam. Bulk posting, duplicated text across places, or review flooding gets an account hidden from Rated.

Reviews live on your own ATProto repository and are public. Rated's moderators act by labelling: hidden reviews disappear from Rated, but your records stay yours. Report a review or an account from its page.
