Privacy notice

Your reviews are public and permanent on your own account. Rated writes reviews and pins to your ATProto repository (your PDS). Anyone, and any ATProto app, can read them; deleting one in Rated deletes it from your repository, but copies may exist elsewhere.

What Rated stores. An index of public records (reviews, pins, follows, blocks), your handle and public profile, sign-in tokens held server-side, settings, notifications, and data you import from Google Takeout (names, addresses, coordinates of places you reviewed). Only Google Place IDs are kept permanently from Google; coordinates read from Google are cached for at most 30 days.

Moderation. Reports are sent to Rated's moderation service and, if you choose, to Bluesky's. Labels from those services decide what Rated shows.

Push notifications. Only if you turn them on; the subscription is stored until you turn them off.
